On the 24th of February 2014, the Prime Minister of Albania Mr. Edi Rama and the Prime Ministers of Kosovo, FRY Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Bosnia Herzegovina and Croatia participated at the Western Balkans forum organized by EBRD in London.
The British Chamber participated together with members of the Chamber interested on the prospect of Albania and the region.
The Prime Ministers were welcomed at a special meeting with the Foreign Minister of UK, Mr. William Hogue on the 24th. The President of the Chamber Mr. Hoxha participated too.
The forum highlighted the potential opportunities in the region and promoted the inflow of investment and cross-border projects.
Cabinet Minister and the Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy, The Rt. Hon. Kenneth Clarke also addressed the forum emphasizing the importance of focusing on economic development and prosperity as very important for the regional stability.
The President of the Chamber and the team, had various meetings with representatives of Western Balkan Government present at the forum as well as with many international companies which are seriously watching the regional developments.
